Role & Responsibilities
- Assess macroeconomic dynamics (GDP, inflation, consumer confidence, foreign exchange rates) and external signals, translating them into clear strategic implications for Puig's markets, categories, and brands
- Analyze market performance data, growth forecasts, category trends, and competitive dynamics to inform future growth outlooks and identify strategic opportunities and risks
- Monitor Sell Out/Sell In data, market shares, and growth drivers to identify deviations and validate strategic assumptions
- Track and interpret industry trends, innovations, and best practices to inform strategic thinking and competitive positioning
- Build the analytical foundation for key planning cycles (3YBP, long-term strategy) by coordinating inputs across functions and ensuring data consistency
- Monitor key performance indicators, identify variances versus plan, and provide diagnostic analysis of underlying drivers and implications
- Synthesize complex data and market insights into clear, executive-ready strategic presentations and recommendations
- Collaborate with Market Intelligence, Consumer Insights, Finance, Markets, and Brand teams to gather insights, validate analyses, and align on strategic fact bases
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of professional experience in market analysis, business analytics, strategy, or management consulting
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint with ability to create executive-quality output
- Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated ability to structure, synthesize, and interpret complex datasets
- Fluent in English and Spanish
- Business Intelligence tools or Think Cell experience is preferred
- Beauty, luxury, or fashion industry exposure is advantageous
Skills
Experience
3–5 years of professional experience in market analysis, business analytics, strategy consulting, or equivalent analytical roles supporting strategic decision-making in a corporate or consulting environment.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Statistics, or related analytical discipline; MBA or equivalent advanced business qualification is advantageous but not required.
