Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver professional makeup services and personalised consultations to clients in a luxury retail environment, tailoring looks to client preferences and occasion.
- Demonstrate deep product knowledge and recommend appropriate skincare and cosmetic solutions to drive product trials and retail sales.
- Maintain impeccable hygiene and sanitation standards for makeup tools, stations and testers according to brand protocols.
- Support in-store merchandising and stock management, including replenishment, sample rotation and visual presentation aligned with brand guidelines.
- Build and maintain client relationships using clienteling techniques, capturing preferences and follow-up opportunities to cultivate repeat business.
- Participate in brand events, counter activations and product launches, providing professional demos and representation of the maison.
- Contribute to achieving individual and store sales targets and assist with training of colleagues on product features and application techniques.
Qualifications
- Relevant certification or vocational training in makeup artistry, cosmetology, or related discipline preferred.
- Proven experience working as a makeup artist in retail, freelance, backstage or bridal contexts; a professional portfolio or photos showcasing technical ability is required.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with proven ability to consult and sell to a high-end clientele.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to hygiene, safety and luxury service standards.
- Availability to work flexible retail hours, including evenings and weekends.

Experience
Typically 1–3 years of hands-on experience as a makeup artist in a retail, freelance, bridal or backstage setting, ideally supporting premium or luxury beauty brands. Demonstrable client portfolio and history of meeting sales or conversion objectives preferred.
Education
