Puig — Local Supply Planner (temporary) in London. Demand & Supply Planning role responsible for local supply plans, inventory and S&OP coordination.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the local supply plan to ensure on-time service to customers while optimising inventory and working capital.
- Translate demand forecasts into feasible supply schedules, accounting for lead times, capacity constraints and safety stock targets.
- Monitor inventory levels and ageing; identify root causes of variances and implement corrective actions to reduce stockouts and overstocks.
- Coordinate daily with manufacturing, procurement, logistics and commercial teams to resolve supply issues and prioritise orders.
- Escalate supply risks and propose mitigation measures within the S&OP cycle; contribute local inputs to monthly S&OP meetings.
- Maintain and update planning records and key performance indicators; produce regular reports for stakeholders.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in planning processes, tools and master data hygiene.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration or related discipline.
- Professional certification (e.g., APICS/CPIM, CSCP) preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong analytical capability with experience using planning metrics (OTIF, days of inventory, forecast error).
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to work across commercial, production and logistics teams.
- Right to work in the UK for the duration of the temporary contract.

Typically 2–5 years of hands-on experience in supply planning, demand planning or inventory management, preferably within FMCG, beauty, fashion or consumer goods environments.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business or a related field.
