Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day manufacturing operations at the local production site, ensuring delivery of production plans on time, in full and to quality standards.
  • Implement and maintain cosmetics-specific GMP (ISO 22716) and Quality Management System requirements across manufacturing lines.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives (Lean, Six Sigma) to improve yield, reduce waste and optimise throughput.
  • Manage site safety, environmental compliance and people health initiatives to meet corporate HSE standards.
  • Own production cost control, forecasting and reporting; collaborate with supply chain and procurement to manage materials and inventory.
  • Provide leadership, coaching and performance management for supervisors and production teams; ensure staffing and training plans are maintained.
  • Coordinate cross-functional projects with R&D, Quality, Engineering and Regulatory Affairs to support new product introductions and process changes.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Chemistry or related scientific/technical discipline; equivalent experience considered.
  • Proven track record (typically 5+ years) in manufacturing leadership within cosmetics, personal care, pharmaceutical or FMCG sectors.
  • Deep knowledge of cosmetic manufacturing regulations and standards, including ISO 22716 and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
  • Demonstrable experience driving Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement programmes (Lean, Six Sigma).
  • Strong leadership skills with experience managing unionised and non-unionised production teams.
  • Proficiency in Spanish and English (spoken and written) to operate in a multinational environment.
