Puig is hiring a Key Account Executive in Barcelona — manage national wholesale accounts and grow perfume & cosmetics sales for Puig.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day management and commercial development of assigned key accounts (department stores, specialty chains, distributors or travel-retail partners).
  • Develop and execute account-specific business plans to grow sales, improve distribution and increase market share in line with brand strategy.
  • Negotiate commercial terms, promotional calendars, listings and merchandising with retail buyers and distributor partners.
  • Monitor account performance and KPIs (sell-through, inventory, margin) and deliver regular forecasts, sales reports and action plans.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities with marketing, supply chain, finance and visual merchandising to ensure flawless in-store execution and on-time deliveries.
  • Identify opportunities for range optimisation, exclusive launches and joint retail activations; lead in-store training for retail staff when required.
  • Represent the brand at buyer meetings, trade shows and retail business reviews.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record of managing key or national accounts — ideally in perfume, cosmetics, beauty or luxury FMCG.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable success growing sales and negotiating commercial agreements with retail partners.
  • Analytical capability to interpret sales and inventory data and translate insights into action plans.
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills; confident in stakeholder management at buyer and distributor levels.
  • Ability to travel regularly to account locations and attend trade events.

Experience

Mid-level commercial professional with typically 3–5 years’ experience managing national or key accounts within beauty, perfumes, cosmetics or related premium FMCG channels. Experience working with department stores, specialty retailers, distributors or travel-retail channels is highly desirable.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field, or equivalent professional experience.
