Role & Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the national specialty retail account strategy to maximize sales, distribution and brand positioning across the beauty specialty channel.
  • Own P&L and commercial targets for assigned accounts; translate corporate objectives into actionable account plans and KPI tracking.
  • Manage and deepen strategic relationships with specialty beauty retailers, distributors and internal stakeholders to secure assortment, visibility and promotional support.
  • Lead negotiation of commercial agreements, pricing, margin structures and promotional calendars in alignment with corporate policy.
  • Coordinate cross-functionally (marketing, trade marketing, merchandising, supply chain and finance) to ensure flawless in-store and online execution.
  • Drive assortment, merchandising and category management decisions informed by market data and consumer insights.
  • Provide sales forecasting, regular performance analysis and reporting to senior leadership; identify and implement corrective actions to deliver growth.
  • Coach and mentor account team members and collaborate with regional or global peers to share best practices and ensure consistent execution.

Qualifications

  • Proven track record in managing national key accounts within the beauty, cosmetics or luxury personal care sector.
  • Demonstrable P&L responsibility and experience building account-level commercial plans that deliver measurable growth.
  • Strong negotiation skills and experience drafting and managing commercial agreements with major specialty retailers or distributors.
  • Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management abilities; capable of influencing cross-functional teams and retail partners.
  • Analytical mindset with proficiency in sales forecasting, KPI monitoring and translating data into commercial actions.
  • Willingness to travel domestically as required for account management and retailer engagement.

Experience

Approximately 8+ years of progressive sales experience in beauty, cosmetics or luxury CPG, with at least 5 years managing national or strategic accounts and demonstrable success leading cross-functional commercial initiatives.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related field; MBA or advanced commercial qualification preferred.
