Puig is hiring a Junior Secondary Packaging Buyer on a temporary basis to support secondary packaging sourcing, development and procurement, balancing total cost of ownership, quality and supply continuity. The role partners with suppliers and cross-functional teams on packaging projects from development through launch, purchasing and supply planning, supplier performance, cost analysis, SAP data and reporting.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support packaging sourcing projects from development through industrialization and launch.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify suitable packaging solutions and suppliers.
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, cost, service and sustainability requirements.
- Prepare and monitor detailed project timelines with suppliers and internal teams.
- Manage purchase requirements and support supply planning activities.
- Monitor supplier performance, delivery schedules and component stock levels.
- Follow up on purchase orders and ensure materials are delivered on time and in full.
- Help resolve quality, supply and operational issues with suppliers.
- Support cost analysis, supplier negotiations and benchmarking activities.
- Maintain purchasing information in SAP, including Info Records, Source Lists, planning and logistics data.
- Prepare reports and KPIs related to supplier performance, costs and inventory.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and purchasing savings opportunities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, Packaging, Supply Chain or a related area.
- Internship or graduate experience in manufacturing, FMCG, cosmetics or packaging is a plus.
- Fluent English; Spanish is highly desirable; French is a plus.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Understanding of procurement and supply chain processes.
- Strong analytical and reporting capabilities.

Experience
0–3 years in Purchasing, Procurement, Packaging, Supply Chain or a related area; internship or graduate experience in manufacturing, FMCG, cosmetics or packaging is a plus.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
