Puig seeks an Iberia Communications Manager in Barcelona to lead PR and corporate communications across Spain & Portugal.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and execute the Iberia communications strategy (Spain & Portugal) aligned with global brand positioning and commercial objectives.
  • Lead media relations: cultivate and manage relationships with national and regional press, lifestyle and trade journalists, and key influencers.
  • Plan and deliver product launches, press conferences, experiential events and VIP media activations across the Iberian market.
  • Manage corporate reputation and act as primary local point for crisis communications and rapid-response scenarios.
  • Coordinate cross-functional collaboration with marketing, retail, legal and brand teams to ensure message consistency and compliance.
  • Oversee external agency partners (PR, influencer, event) and manage related budgets, timelines and performance KPIs.
  • Monitor, analyse and report media coverage and campaign effectiveness using quantitative and qualitative metrics; recommend optimisation.
  • Develop internal communications for Iberia operations and provide media training and communications coaching to spokespeople.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing or equivalent; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of communications/PR experience, with at least 2–3 years in a regional or managerial role handling multi-brand luxury or beauty accounts.
  • Deep knowledge of the Iberian media landscape and proven relationships with national and regional press/influencers.
  • Demonstrated experience in corporate reputation management and crisis communications.
  • Strong strategic thinking with excellent editorial judgement and proven ability to translate brand strategy into media narratives.
  • Fluency in Spanish; professional-level Portuguese and English highly desirable.
