Puig seeks Global Supply Planning Executive in Alcalá de Henares to manage global inventory, production scheduling, and supply chain optimization.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and maintain global inventory policies aligned with manufacturing batch policies and group standards
  • Develop and execute the Master Production Schedule (MPS) for both owned and third-party manufacturing, incorporating demand forecasts, stock policies, and production constraints
  • Evaluate alternatives and establish contingency plans to guarantee availability of key product references
  • Co-lead global Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) meetings, providing insights on availability risks, capacity constraints, material requirements, and obsolescence trends
  • Create and launch purchase and production orders based on manufacturing batches and supply policies
  • Execute weekly production plans for mid- and long-term horizons based on available capacities and resources
  • Monitor and facilitate stock availability of finished products across the entire supply network
  • Prepare Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) scenarios for S&OP decision-making processes
  • Track real versus planned production and shipments to Puig locations, managing capacity conflicts versus demand
  • Reduce stocks of obsolete materials and slow-moving inventory through analysis and reusability proposals
  • Maintain all necessary data and systems infrastructure supporting supply planning operations

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Management, Economics, or related field
  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience in supply planning, procurement, or replenishment functions
  • Fluent English; French language proficiency is advantageous
  • Demonstrated expertise in supply chain management, demand planning methodologies (DRP, MPS, MRP, RCCP)
  • Experience with AI and advanced analytics tools for supply chain optimization
