Puig is hiring a Global Supply Planner in Barcelona to manage global supply planning, inventory and S&OP for its fragrance and fashion brands.
Role & Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain end-to-end global supply plans to satisfy demand forecasts while optimizing inventory and service levels.
- Execute material requirement planning (MRP) and production scheduling in coordination with manufacturing sites and external suppliers.
- Collaborate with Demand Planning, Sales, Marketing and Finance to align forecasts, promotions and S&OP cycles.
- Monitor inventory positions, aging and obsolescence; propose and implement inventory reduction and replenishment strategies.
- Manage supplier lead times, capacity constraints and expedite processes to mitigate supply disruptions.
- Produce and analyse KPI reports (OTIF, fill rate, lead times, days of inventory) and present findings to stakeholders.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives on planning processes, tools and data quality to increase forecast accuracy and responsiveness.
- Support new product introductions from a supply perspective, ensuring raw material and finished-goods availability.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business or a related field.
- APICS/ASCM certification (CPIM, CSCP) or equivalent is highly desirable.
- Proven ability to work effectively across cross-functional and multicultural teams in a matrix organisation.
- Strong analytical mindset with demonstrated capability to translate data into operational decisions.
- Excellent communication skills in a corporate, cross-border context.
Skills
Experience
Typically 3–5 years of hands-on supply planning experience within FMCG, beauty, cosmetics or luxury goods. Experience managing multi-country or global supply chains and participating in S&OP processes is required.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration or related discipline.
