Puig seeks Global Head of Media Data in Barcelona to lead media analytics and measurement strategy across luxury brand portfolio. Permanent role.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Define and lead the global media data strategy and roadmap, positioning media data as a strategic asset supporting business growth and digital transformation
  • Lead end-to-end media measurement strategy, including attribution frameworks and brand & performance measurement methodologies
  • Oversee econometric and advanced analytics approaches to quantify marketing impact, optimize media investments, and support budget allocation decisions
  • Define and enforce global media data standards, including tracking frameworks, KPI harmonization, and data models across paid, owned, and earned channels
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, and scalability across all markets and platforms in collaboration with technology and data governance teams
  • Structure media data into reusable, scalable data products including dashboards, datasets, models, and AI use cases with clear business value prioritization
  • Drive adoption of data solutions across brands and markets, delivering self-serve, high-quality analytics assets to stakeholders
  • Transform complex analyses into clear, actionable business recommendations linking media performance, consumer behavior, and business outcomes
  • Act as the key interface between global and local marketing teams, media agencies, technology vendors, and data teams to align stakeholders around a shared measurement and data vision
  • Build and lead a high-performing multidisciplinary team including Global Paid Media Data Manager, Global Social Data Manager, Global Media Data Product Manager, and Global Media Tracking Manager

Qualifications

  • 12+ years of professional experience in media analytics, data strategy, or digital performance roles
  • Proven track record of strong experience in advanced measurement methodologies including marketing mix modeling (MMM), attribution modeling, and econometrics
  • Demonstrated experience managing complex, cross-functional programs at enterprise scale
  • Proven leadership experience building and scaling data capabilities and managing high-performing teams
  • Deep understanding of paid, owned, and earned media ecosystems and platforms including Camphouse, Supermetrics, Meltwater, and similar tools
  • Expertise in media tracking and data collection technologies including GA4, tagging frameworks, and pixel implementation
  • Strong analytical background with expertise in econometrics, statistics, and advanced modeling
  • Proficiency in SQL and data environments such as BigQuery
  • Hands-on experience with data visualization tools including Tableau, Power BI, or Looker
  • Comprehensive understanding of data product lifecycle from ingestion through activation
  • Background in consumer goods, beauty, or luxury sectors highly preferred

Education

Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Data Science, Economics, Business, or related quantitative field required. Advanced degree (Master's or MBA) in related discipline, or equivalent professional certification in advanced analytics or data science, is strongly preferred.
