Puig is hiring a Global Affairs & Communications Manager in Barcelona to lead global corporate communications and public affairs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute integrated global communications and public affairs strategies that protect and enhance corporate and brand reputation across core markets.
- Lead external media relations and proactive press campaigns, including briefings, press materials and spokesperson preparation for global launches and corporate announcements.
- Manage stakeholder engagement with public institutions, industry associations and key opinion leaders to support regulatory objectives and market access initiatives.
- Provide counsel and communications support to senior executives and regional teams, drafting speeches, Q&As, talking points and executive messaging.
- Coordinate crisis and issues management globally, orchestrating rapid response plans, cross-market alignment and post-incident analysis.
- Oversee external agencies and vendors (PR, public affairs, content and measurement) and ensure consistent brand and corporate messaging across channels.
- Develop internal communications programs to align employees with corporate priorities, ESG commitments and reputation objectives.
- Establish KPI frameworks and reporting to measure media impact, reputation metrics and campaign ROI; translate insights into iterative strategy adjustments.
Qualifications
- Typically 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate communications, public affairs or reputation management, preferably within luxury goods, beauty or consumer-facing industries.
- Demonstrated experience designing and implementing multi-market communications programs and managing external agencies.
- Proven track record in crisis communications and executive counsel.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish; additional European language (e.g., French) is advantageous.
- Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science or related discipline; advanced degree preferred.

Experience
Five or more years of progressively responsible experience in corporate communications or public affairs, with demonstrable ownership of global or multi‑market programs and experience advising senior leadership in high‑visibility contexts.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Political Science or a related field; master's degree or equivalent professional qualifications preferred.
