Penhaligon's seeks a Fragrance Specialist in London (Wellington St) to deliver personalised client service and drive retail sales.
Role & Responsibilities
- Deliver an exceptional, personalised client experience that reflects Penhaligon's luxury positioning and brand storytelling.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs through consultative fragrance recommendations and upselling complementary products.
- Develop deep product knowledge of fragrance compositions, provenance and application to educate clients and build trust.
- Maintain boutique standards: visual merchandising, housekeeping, product rotation and sample management.
- Operate point-of-sale (POS) systems accurately, process transactions and manage refunds/exchanges in line with policy.
- Grow and maintain a client database through active clienteling, follow-ups and appointment management.
- Support boutique events, launches and in-store activations, coordinating samples and communications with store management.
- Manage stock receipt, replenishment and basic inventory reconciliation with attention to loss-prevention procedures.
Qualifications
- Proven track record in luxury retail or beauty sales, preferably with fragrance experience.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, polished presentation and the ability to build long-term client relationships.
- Commercially driven with a demonstrable ability to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Flexible availability including weekends and peak retail periods.
- Attention to detail and reliability in handling cash, stock and client data.

Experience
Typically 1–2 years of customer-facing experience in luxury retail, beauty or perfumery is preferred; candidates with strong commercial performance and product passion will be prioritised.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or industry-specific training in beauty/perfume retail is advantageous.
