Role & Responsibilities
- Conduct formulation for cosmetics in the fragrance category and home care products
- Determine stability of formulations and ensure commercial feasibility
- Manage testing schedules to guarantee marketable final products
- Collaborate with internal teams during the formulation and development process
- Create and maintain formula-related documentation including raw material, bulk, and final product specifications
- Develop manufacturing procedures, stability studies, and product performance protocols
- Prepare required laboratory standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Participate in manufacturing transfer process from pilot lab batches to commercial production
- Troubleshoot and resolve product or process problems
- Monitor scientific and technological advances in cosmetic product development
Qualifications
- Master's Degree or higher in Chemistry, Cosmetic Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
- 0–2 years of experience in cosmetic formulation
- Understanding of cosmetic product attributes and consumer insights
- Knowledge of ingredients, physical testing, and analytical methods applied to cosmetics
- Familiarity with global cosmetic regulations
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational and project management abilities
- Technical laboratory skills

Experience
0–2 years of professional experience in cosmetic formulation or related product development roles, with demonstrated understanding of cosmetic product attributes, consumer insights, and analytical methods. Knowledge of fragrances is advantageous.
Education
Master's Degree or higher in Chemistry, Cosmetic Chemistry, or Chemical Engineering
