Puig Financial Controller Specialist – Accounting Control & Compliance role in São Paulo.
Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee and coordinate accounting operations and financial reporting processes
- Establish and maintain internal financial controls and compliance frameworks
- Conduct regular audits and reconciliations of financial records
- Prepare and review financial statements and reports for accuracy and compliance
- Collaborate with external auditors and regulatory bodies as required
- Identify and implement process improvements and control enhancements
- Train and supervise accounting team members on control procedures
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent professional qualification such as CPA, CA, or ACCA)
- Minimum 5 years' experience in financial control, accounting operations, or internal audit
- Proficiency in accounting software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems
- Strong understanding of international accounting standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent in Portuguese and proficient in English for written and oral communication

Experience
