Puig seeks an experienced Finance Controller to act as a strategic finance partner to its Iberia organization, overseeing financial planning, performance management, control and process improvement across the full P&L. The permanent role partners with Commercial, Retail, Marketing and HR to inform decisions, support sustainable growth and safeguard profitability.
Role & Responsibilities
- Lead annual budgeting, quarterly forecasting and long-range planning.
- Provide structured analysis across the full P&L, including Net Revenue, Gross Profit, A&P and Fixed Costs.
- Own monthly performance reviews and prepare variance analyses against budget, forecast and prior year.
- Identify financial trends, risks and opportunities, and support mitigation or acceleration plans.
- Partner with functional cost owners to ensure transparency, financial discipline and forward-looking cost management.
- Partner with Commercial, Retail, Marketing and HR teams, constructively challenging business assumptions and supporting decision-making.
- Support strategic decisions on pricing, promotions, commercial investments and resource allocation.
- Evaluate go-to-market initiatives, brand investments and other key business opportunities financially.
- Translate complex financial information into clear insights and actionable recommendations for senior stakeholders.
- Balance growth opportunities with profitability, cash discipline and appropriate financial governance.
- Ensure accurate, timely month-end close in line with corporate accounting standards and IFRS.
- Maintain strong internal controls and compliance with statutory, tax and corporate requirements.
- Coordinate with external auditors and support audit processes.
- Serve as a key finance interface with regional and global finance teams and shared service centers.
- Ensure high standards of data quality, accuracy and financial reporting.
- Drive finance process standardization and continuous improvement across the Iberia organization.
- Lead automation, reporting improvements and digital finance initiatives to increase efficiency and analytical capabilities.
- Collaborate with shared service centers to optimize transactional finance flows and service quality.
Qualifications
- University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
- Proven experience acting as a finance business partner to senior stakeholders.
- Strong understanding of full P&L dynamics, including revenue, gross margin, A&P and fixed cost structures.
- Experience in budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning within a multi-market or matrix organization.
- Experience collaborating with shared service centers and regional or global finance teams.
- Experience in FMCG, beauty, retail or other brand-driven environments is a strong advantage.
- Fluent English and Spanish is required.

5–8 years in FP&A, Commercial Finance, Business Controlling or similar finance roles.
Education
University degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related field.
