Role & Responsibilities
- Manage demand planning and sales forecasting for selected brands and product categories across the DACH region, supporting S&OP processes with reliable demand estimates
- Develop and optimize forecasts based on sales data, market trends, promotional activities, and commercial insights, ensuring high planning quality and accuracy
- Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, retail, finance, and international supply chain teams to maintain seamless communication across the value chain
- Support product launches, seasonal initiatives, and marketing campaigns by assessing their impact on demand forecasts and inventory requirements
- Analyze key performance indicators, sales trends, and inventory levels to identify risks and opportunities, recommending mitigation measures to ensure product availability
- Identify emerging planning risks and commercial opportunities early, supporting the development of appropriate strategic responses
- Actively contribute ideas for enhancing demand planning processes and tools to drive continuous improvement
Qualifications
- 1+ years of professional experience in demand planning, supply chain management, commercial planning, or comparable field
- Strong understanding of forecasting methodologies, demand planning principles, and their impact on inventory and product availability
- Proficiency with ERP and planning systems; experience with SAP IBP is advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with analysis and reporting tools such as Power BI
- Fluent German and English language skills
- Structured, solution-oriented analytical mindset with ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
