Role & Responsibilities
- Handle German-language customer enquiries across channels (email, phone, chat and social) with a brand-appropriate tone.
- Resolve order management tasks including order tracking, modifications, returns and refunds for DACH customers.
- Investigate and resolve product complaints and escalations, coordinating closely with logistics, retail and quality teams.
- Record and update customer interactions in the CRM, maintain accurate case notes and follow-up actions.
- Monitor and report on customer service KPIs (response times, resolution rates, CSAT), and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Maintain and update knowledge-base articles, FAQs and customer-facing templates for the DACH market.
Qualifications
- Native or near-native German and professional-level English; additional DACH-region language skills advantageous.
- Proven customer service experience in a consumer-facing environment, ideally within beauty, fashion or luxury retail.
- Respect for brand voice and high standards of customer experience typical of premium brands.
- Strong problem-solving aptitude, attention to detail and ability to manage multiple enquiries under time constraints.
- Flexibility to work temporary contract hours, including possible shift patterns to cover DACH time zones.

Typically 2+ years in customer service or contact-centre roles, with demonstrable experience supporting the DACH market or German-speaking customers; experience in beauty, fashion or premium retail preferred.
Education
