Puig is hiring a Channel Leader in Barcelona — drive channel strategy and wholesale sales for the fragrance and beauty portfolio.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for assigned channels (wholesale, travel retail, department stores and selected third-party retail partners) to achieve sales and margin targets.
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts, distributors and retail partners, negotiating commercial terms, assortment and joint business plans.
- Own channel P&L drivers: pricing, assortment, promotional activity, inventory management and sell-through.
- Coordinate trade marketing and in-store activation with brand marketing, visual merchandising and field sales to maximize brand presence and conversion.
- Produce regular sales forecasts, performance analyses and KPI reporting to senior management; translate insights into corrective actions.
- Lead cross-functional projects with supply chain, finance and legal to ensure timely product launches, allocation and contractual compliance.
- Coach and influence internal stakeholders and external partners to drive commercial discipline and operational excellence; travel as required to partner locations.
Qualifications
- Proven track record (typically 5+ years) in channel, wholesale or key account management within beauty, fragrance, luxury goods or FMCG.
- Demonstrated achievement against sales targets and commercial objectives, including experience negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Strong analytical capability with experience in forecasting, assortment planning and P&L responsibility.
- Exemplary stakeholder management and negotiation skills; ability to influence senior retail partners.
- Leadership aptitude: ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and, where applicable, direct reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or related discipline; advanced business education or industry training is advantageous.

A mid-to-senior commercial professional with approximately 5+ years’ experience leading channels or managing wholesale/key accounts in the beauty, fragrance, luxury goods or fast-moving consumer goods sectors, with demonstrated results in sales growth and margin management.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Commerce or a related field; postgraduate business qualifications or sector-specific training is a plus.
