Puig is hiring a Channel Leader in Barcelona — lead channel strategy, key accounts and commercial growth for the beauty and fragrance business.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute the commercial strategy for the assigned channel to maximise sales, market share and brand equity.
- Own channel P&L targets, sales forecasting, assortment and pricing to achieve profitable growth.
- Manage and develop relationships with key accounts and distribution partners, leading commercial negotiations and contractual agreements.
- Coordinate cross-functionally with marketing, trade marketing, supply chain and finance to deliver in-store and promotional plans.
- Design and implement trade activation, merchandising and visual standards to ensure consistent brand presence.
- Monitor performance through KPI dashboards; analyse sell-in, sell-out and inventory to inform tactical decisions.
- Lead, mentor and develop junior commercial team members or external agency partners as required.
- Identify market opportunities and propose channel-specific initiatives, including new format or channel expansion.
Qualifications
- Proven commercial experience in channel management, key account management or wholesale within perfumes/cosmetics, beauty or FMCG.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering sales targets and managing P&L or budget responsibility.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience managing national or regional retail and distributor relationships.
- Analytical orientation with experience using sales and inventory data to drive decisions.
- Leadership capability with experience supervising teams or leading cross-functional projects.

Typically 5+ years in commercial roles within perfumes/cosmetics, beauty or FMCG, with at least 2 years in channel, key account or team leadership positions.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Commercial Management or related discipline; equivalent professional experience accepted.
