Puig, the family-owned luxury goods conglomerate, seeks a Business Intelligence & Data Analytics Intern to join its Hamburg commercial operations team. The successful candidate will support senior intelligence leadership in analyzing and processing sales, customer, and market data while developing proficiency in BI tools such as Power BI. This internship offers immersive exposure to luxury beauty and fashion commerce within an international organization spanning premium brands including Jean Paul Gaultier, Rabanne, Carolina Herrera, Nina Ricci, Byredo, and Hermès.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Business Intelligence Manager in analyzing and preparing sales, customer, and market data for strategic decision-making
- Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders
- Analyze sell-in and sell-out data along with key performance indicators to identify commercial trends
- Assist in developing and maintaining Power BI dashboards and visualization models
- Prepare data sets for sales management and executive decision-making purposes
- Conduct market and competitive intelligence analysis to inform commercial strategy
- Contribute to sales and process optimization initiatives
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and integrity across analytical systems
- Collaborate closely with Sales, E-Commerce, Finance, and Demand Planning teams
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in Business Administration, Business Information Systems, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related degree program
- Pronounced analytical thinking and strong numerical aptitude
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Foundational experience with Power BI, Tableau, or comparable BI platforms preferred
- Structured, meticulous, and independently organized work approach
- Strong demonstrated interest in data-driven decision making and business intelligence
- Fluent in German and English
