Puig seeks an Artificial Intelligence Acceleration Manager in Paris to lead AI strategy and scale ML across the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Define and execute an enterprise-wide AI acceleration strategy that translates business priorities into deliverable AI roadmaps and measurable KPIs.
- Lead cross-functional programmes and proofs-of-concept to validate use cases, establish ROI, and transition successful pilots into production at scale.
- Design and operationalise MLOps practices, standards and toolchains to enable repeatable, secure, and auditable model deployment and monitoring.
- Coordinate stakeholders across Product, Marketing, Retail, IT and Data teams to prioritise initiatives, manage dependencies and secure executive sponsorship.
- Assess and manage relationships with technology vendors, research partners and external consultancies; oversee procurement and contractual arrangements where required.
- Establish governance, data ethics and regulatory compliance frameworks (privacy, IP, model risk) for AI projects.
- Champion capability building and change management initiatives to raise AI literacy and embed data-driven decision-making across the organisation.
Qualifications
- Proven track record delivering AI/ML projects from prototype to production within a complex, matrixed organisation.
- Demonstrable leadership of cross-functional teams and programmes, with experience securing executive buy-in and managing stakeholders.
- Strong technical fluency in machine learning architectures, MLOps concepts and cloud-based deployment patterns.
- Experience evaluating and implementing AI platforms, vendors and open-source stacks; ability to translate technical trade-offs for business audiences.
- Knowledge of data governance, privacy and ethical considerations relevant to AI in consumer-facing industries.
Skills
Experience
Approximately 5+ years in machine learning, data science or AI engineering roles with at least 2–3 years leading cross-functional programmes or teams to industrialise ML solutions; experience in consumer goods, beauty, retail or luxury sectors is advantageous.
Education
Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Mathematics or equivalent professional experience.
