Role & Responsibilities
- Process and code supplier invoices, ensuring accurate entry into the financial system and compliance with internal controls
- Match purchase orders, goods receipts and invoices; escalate and resolve discrepancies with procurement and suppliers
- Support payment cycle preparation and execution, including preparing documentation for payment runs
- Perform supplier statement reconciliations and follow up to resolve outstanding items
- Assist with month‑end accruals, account reconciliations and ad‑hoc reporting for the finance team
- Maintain and update vendor master data, ensuring completeness and correct documentation
- Contribute to continuous‑improvement projects to streamline AP workflows and improve controls
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or related field
- Strong attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Ability to work under deadlines and prioritize tasks during month‑end
- Good interpersonal and written communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal stakeholders
- High standards of confidentiality and professional integrity

Experience
No prior professional experience required; previous internships or part‑time roles in finance or accounting are an advantage. The role is designed for students seeking practical, on‑the‑job exposure to accounts payable operations.
Education
Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related discipline.
