Puig seeks an Accountant Executive with Greek language skills in Barcelona for permanent financial accounting role supporting group entities and reporting to Group Accounting Manager.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute accounting activities for monthly, quarterly, and year-end close processes in accordance with group accounting rules and procedures
  • Manage quarterly inter-company reconciliations and prepare, verify, and submit group reporting
  • Ensure Balance Sheet statements contain reliable and accurate information aligned with Group and statutory standards
  • Conduct monthly cash forecasting and variance analysis to support liquidity planning
  • Execute timely tax obligations, tax reporting, and tax accounting responsibilities
  • Lead audit processes with internal and external auditors and maintain statutory accounting records per local standards
  • Support subsidiary budgeting, forecasting, and planning processes
  • Serve as single point of contact for Local Controllers, providing guidance on financial criteria and compliance

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or Master's degree in Accounting or related field
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a similar accounting position
  • Fluent proficiency in Spanish, English, and Greek
  • Advanced proficiency with SAP and Microsoft Office
  • Knowledge of European accounting rules and standards (preferred)
  • Strong analytical and communication skills
  • Ability to work autonomously in multicultural and fast-paced environments
