Puiforcat is seeking a Metal Polisher for its artisanal workshop in Pantin, responsible for polishing, brightening and repairing metal pieces while ensuring quality and production deadlines. This is a full-time fixed-term contract (CDD).
Role & Responsibilities
- Follow safety instructions strictly.
- Select and prepare the tools required for the operations.
- Inspect and assess the surface condition of pieces.
- Carry out preparatory rough polishing, finishing polishing and brightening, following each piece’s specifications and the instructions provided.
- Repair surface defects, including pitting, scratches and irregularities.
- Degrease, clean and dry polished pieces.
- Verify that pieces meet requirements for size, symmetry, appearance and functionality.
- Record production data, including manufacturing steps and completion times.
- Work closely with other artisans and the quality department to maintain high quality standards and meet deadlines.
- Participate in cleaning and maintaining equipment.
- Contribute to continuous operational improvement initiatives.
