Role & Responsibilities
- Review and analyze weekly Excel sales reports to monitor business performance against targets
- Prepare comprehensive weekly business recaps for senior management
- Execute weekly stock rebalancing initiatives to maximize sales velocity and sell-through
- Participate in buying sessions in Milan (6 sessions annually, conducted in-person or virtually)
- Develop premarket seasonal analysis identifying opportunities and successes from previous seasons
- Create store-specific and size-based seasonal assortments for 50+ boutiques aligned with company vision and market requirements
- Execute seasonal product restocking and replenishment across the boutique network
- Partner with retail teams to manage daily product inquiries and provide support
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to ensure seasonal product focal points align with visual guidelines and brand standards
- Assist in markdown preparation by identifying styles for markdown and consolidating inventory to high-performing locations
- Coordinate with logistics to track shipments and monitor delivery timelines
- Analyze market trends, competitor positioning, and customer characteristics specific to the region
- Conduct regular boutique visits to assess product sales trends, assortment appropriateness, and brand presentation standards
- Work closely with Store Management to understand business needs and opportunities
- Prepare reports and analysis for product development proposals and competitive intelligence
- Introduce seasonal collections to store personnel with detailed sales strategies and brand vision
- Lead product training sessions and provide general Women's RTW introductory training to new hires
- Develop and deliver store training presentations on products and selling techniques
- Identify Women's RTW selling event opportunities in collaboration with Retail Operations and establish sales targets
- Monitor merchandise deliveries before and after selling events and ensure all client orders are fulfilled
- Act as Women's RTW brand ambassador during events, providing product expertise and enforcing brand aesthetics
- Support client appointments during events and participate in the overall selling ceremony
Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of professional experience in merchandising
- Demonstrated experience in the luxury industry, preferably in Women's Ready-to-Wear
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong organizational and time management capabilities with demonstrated ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
- Exceptional attention to detail with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Comfort with public speaking and presenting to diverse audiences
- Ability to travel frequently domestically and internationally
- Collaborative, team-oriented approach with a positive attitude and entrepreneurial mindset
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5+ years of professional merchandising experience, with preference for luxury sector background and Women's Ready-to-Wear category expertise. Prior experience managing product assortments across multiple retail locations is highly valued.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Fashion Merchandising, Business, Marketing, or related field preferred, though equivalent professional experience in luxury retail or merchandising may be considered.
