Prada — Milan: Women's Collection Merchandising Intern. Internship supporting assortment planning, sales analysis and cross‑functional coordination for Prada Donna.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Support the merchandising team in assortment planning for the Prada women's (Donna) collection, including product categorization and lifecycle tracking.
  • Prepare and maintain sales, margin and inventory reports; analyse sell-through and translate data into actionable recommendations.
  • Assist in the creation of range packs, merchandising calendars and pre-season product presentations for internal stakeholders and retail teams.
  • Coordinate with design, production and retail operations to ensure collection alignment, sample flow and timing of deliveries.
  • Contribute to market and competitor research, trend monitoring and visual merchandising inputs for store launches and windows.
  • Support ad hoc commercial projects, fittings and meetings; ensure accurate documentation and follow-up of decisions.

Qualifications

  • Enrolled in or recently graduated from a degree in Fashion Business, Merchandising, Business, Economics or a closely related discipline.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and analytical rigour, with proven attention to detail.
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Passion for luxury fashion and deep interest in product assortments, trends and retail dynamics.
  • Effective communicator in cross-functional, multicultural teams.

Experience

Prior internships or up to 12 months' practical experience in retail, brand merchandising or a related commercial function preferred but not required; demonstrable academic projects or coursework in merchandising advantageous.

Education

Enrolled in or recently completed Bachelor's degree in Fashion Business, Merchandising, Business Administration, Economics or equivalent.
