Visual Merchandiser role at Prada in Barcelona—temporary contract for luxury retail display design and window management.
Role & Responsibilities
- Execute window and in-store displays according to Visual Merchandising Department guidelines and Prada brand standards
- Implement and maintain daily display installations while ensuring compliance with brand quality standards
- Coordinate display installations across regional stores in agreement with the VM Manager and Store Manager
- Document all display changes through the Display APP by capturing and uploading photographs of windows and displays
- Collaborate with Retail Merchandising to develop market-appropriate product outfits that drive customer traffic and sales
- Provide Store and Department Managers with guidance on product display best practices and visual presentation
- Submit periodic display photographs to the Visual Merchandising Function for review and recommended corrections
- Deliver performance feedback to Visual Merchandising and Retail Merchandising teams on display implementation results
- Report on the condition of store interiors, windows, and display elements to the Visual Merchandising Function
- Support in-store events and promotional activities, including private client appointments and press presentations
- Manage and maintain store display props in coordination with the Stock Manager
Qualifications
- Proven experience in visual merchandising or retail display design
- Strong understanding of luxury brand standards and high-end retail environments
- Proficiency with digital documentation tools and display management applications
- Ability to interpret and implement visual guidelines with precision
- Excellent communication skills for cross-functional collaboration
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in visual merchandising, retail display design, or a related creative retail role within a luxury environment is required or strongly preferred.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; additional training in visual merchandising, interior design, or retail management is a plus.
