Prada Team Manager in East Hampton, NY—lead sales team, drive luxury retail targets, and manage client relationships.
Role & Responsibilities
- Drive the team to exceed financial targets and maximize sales performance and contribution to store success
- Support the Store Manager to develop and implement business plans through product performance analysis and relevant action plans
- Foster cross-selling and up-selling opportunities across product categories
- Ensure business opportunities are maximized through efficient sales floor management, maintaining a visible presence and enforcing Prada standards
- Act as a role model demonstrating sales leadership to the team and support their individual sales performance while building and developing client relationships
- Foster a digital mindset among the team and encourage support for improving client relationships and achieving business objectives
- Remain current on market trends and luxury fashion industry developments
- Ensure all clients feel welcomed and participate in an inspiring and engaging journey through the store
- Trigger client curiosity and lead them through Prada's values and vision, including the brand's unique attitude, intelligence of design, and cultural relevance
- Make clients feel unique and enable expression of their individuality, confidence, and independence of spirit
- Cultivate customer relationships to create loyal brand advocates and leverage the team to achieve high-quality customer profile capture with every transaction
- Foster a client-centric mindset by developing and maintaining solid client relationships and enforcing meaningful after-sales experiences
- Proactively identify opportunities to gain new clients and grow department sales
- Strengthen client loyalty by supporting the department team in carrying out clientelling initiatives
- Proactively manage customer complaints to ensure positive client relationship outcomes
- Support the team with consistent coaching, identify their development and training needs, and partner with HR and L&D to tailor individual development plans
- Encourage information exchange within the team and proactively develop morning briefings on specific topics
- Identify talents within the team and propose them for internal development opportunities in coordination with the Store Manager
- Guarantee team development through coaching and follow-ups on individual action plans
- Lead by example to ensure the team operates with the highest level of care and respect for products in all ceremonies and procedures
- Support synergy and cooperation between front and back of house operations
- Support enforcement of company procedures on cash activity, inventory, logistics, and all required reporting activities
- Contribute to effective and efficient care of company assets
- Provide feedback and suggestions concerning department needs to the Store Manager and coordinate with Visual Merchandising and Merchandising departments
- Guarantee effective and efficient back-of-house organization for the department while ensuring staff grooming standards are maintained
- Ensure company policies and procedures are proactively implemented while managing all operational activities
- Master all company tools and applications including IT and digital platforms, and keep the team informed of relevant updates
- Train and inspire the sales team on product knowledge, sales techniques, client services, and company policies and procedures

Skills
Experience
Proven experience in a luxury fashion retail environment with demonstrated success in leading sales teams, driving financial targets, and managing high-end client relationships. Previous leadership experience in a similar retail setting is strongly preferred.
Education
High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in business, retail management, or a related field preferred.
