Prada seeks a Tailor in Milan to perform high‑precision in‑store alterations and repairs for women's and men's luxury garments.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform in‑store alterations, repairs and tailoring interventions to the highest luxury quality standards within agreed timeframes.
- Provide expert, client‑facing consultations on alteration options and fit solutions; support fittings together with Sales Assistants.
- Maintain and service tailoring equipment and ensure procurement and availability of all materials and accessories required for alterations.
- Coordinate handling and logistical exchanges between the store and external service providers (laundry, knitwear factories, external tailor labs, etc.).
- Document alteration requests and outcomes, ensuring accuracy and traceability of client and product records.
Qualifications
- Completed vocational training or apprenticeship as a tailor.
- Relevant professional experience in women's and men's fashion tailoring, preferably within the luxury sector.
- Proven ability to operate sewing machines and perform manual hand‑sewing to fine standards.
- Excellent attention to detail, organisational skills and the capacity to work independently.
- Fluent spoken English.

Demonstrable professional experience in garment alterations and tailoring within the fashion sector, with hands‑on practice on both women's and men's garments and experience liaising with external workshops.
Education
Completed training as a tailor (vocational qualification or apprenticeship) or equivalent formal tailoring education.
