Prada Tailor job in Miami, supporting in-store alterations, customer fittings and high-quality garment repairs.
Role & Responsibilities
- Perform in-store alterations and tailoring, completing repairs within the expected timeframe and to high quality standards.
- Provide qualified customer consultation and support for individual alteration requests.
- Work with the Sales Assistant to coordinate customer fittings.
- Procure materials required for tailoring and maintain tailoring tools.
- Manage product handling between the store and external service providers, including laundries, knitwear factories and external tailoring labs.
- Carry out complex, precise repairs using a high level of craftsmanship and knowledge of materials and tailoring techniques.
Qualifications
- Completed training as a tailor.
- Relevant professional experience in the women's and men's fashion sector.
- Routine experience using sewing machines and sewing by hand.
- Enthusiasm for fashion, trends and textiles.
- Care, accuracy and the ability to work independently.
- Reliability, organizational skills and time management.
- English is required; other languages are a plus.
