Prada Store Manager position in Osaka, Japan—lead boutique operations, drive sales performance, and manage team in luxury retail environment.
Role & Responsibilities
- Maximize and drive sales performance across all categories and customer segments
- Propose and formulate business plans aligned with regional and global strategic objectives
- Lead store team and facilitate achievement of KPIs whilst maintaining operational standards
- Represent the brand in local market; identify opportunities to increase foot traffic, acquire new customers, and establish long-term brand relationships
- Maintain presence on sales floor and ensure service standards are consistently executed
- Execute omnichannel strategy through store team engagement and integration
- Manage store operating budget and control expenditures in compliance with corporate guidelines
- Cultivate customer-centric mindset and maintain strong client relationships
- Guarantee exceptional customer satisfaction and premium service delivery
- Coordinate with internal departments to execute clienteling initiatives, events, and campaigns that enhance customer loyalty and transaction value
- Strengthen private appointment culture and personalized service practices
- Foster entrepreneurial spirit and team cohesion through effective communication and professional development
- Ensure team maintains current knowledge of Prada Group strategic priorities, product expertise, local market dynamics, competitors, and operational policies
- Recruit and retain top talent through networking and market intelligence
- Collaborate with merchandising, visual merchandising, and retail operations teams to develop effective sales strategies
- Maintain displays and visual presentations aligned with corporate guidelines to maximize sales conversion
- Participate in buying sessions and provide product feedback based on store needs and customer demand
- Ensure coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house operations
- Adhere to company procedures for cash management, inventory, logistics, and key reporting requirements
- Partner with retail events team to plan local events and set challenging, realistic customer targets
- Engage with local stakeholders and influencers to propose new event opportunities
Qualifications
- Business/Retail Management degree or equivalent professional experience
- Proven track record of sales leadership in luxury retail environment
- Demonstrated excellence in team management and coaching
- Strong understanding of omnichannel retail strategies
- Passion for luxury goods, fashion, art, and design
- Natural hospitality and customer engagement capability
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years in luxury retail or fashion management roles, with demonstrated progressive responsibility in store leadership. Previous experience managing multi-category flagships or boutiques in premium segments essential. Proven ability to lead teams, drive sales growth, and cultivate customer loyalty in competitive luxury markets.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail Management, or equivalent professional experience in luxury retail management.
