Prada seeks a Store Manager in Hong Kong to lead business performance, client development, team management, boutique care and local events. The role combines sales-floor leadership with operational oversight, clienteling, talent development and delivery of Prada’s service standards.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead the store team to exceed financial targets and maximise sales performance, driving overall store success.
  • Analyse performance and propose and develop action plans.
  • Drive the team to exceed KPI targets, including cross-selling and upselling across product categories.
  • Represent Prada in the local market, identifying opportunities to increase footfall, attract new clients and build brand loyalty.
  • Maintain a visible presence on the sales floor and ensure the highest standards of client approach and service.
  • Build the team’s omnichannel awareness and encourage the use of digital tools to strengthen client relationships and achieve business objectives.
  • Develop the e-commerce channel by responding promptly to orders while maintaining high service standards.
  • Meet store operating budgets by monitoring expenses.
  • Provide product feedback based on store needs and participate in buying sessions when requested.
  • Place clients first, create a welcoming environment and ensure the team responds to their needs and requests.
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships and deliver meaningful after-sales experiences.
  • Deliver excellent client satisfaction and service through the Brand Selling Ceremony.
  • Manage local VIC clients and tailor initiatives to develop their loyalty and spend.
  • Partner with corporate functions to implement clienteling initiatives and events that build loyalty and increase client spending.
  • Identify opportunities to acquire new clients and grow store sales.
  • Build a strong culture of private appointments within the team.
  • Proactively resolve client complaints and maintain positive client relationships.
  • Motivate staff through effective communication and foster team spirit and a positive, energetic environment.
  • Encourage information sharing and lead focused morning briefings.
  • Master company IT, digital tools and applications, and keep the team informed of relevant updates.
  • Assess team needs and priorities; train and inspire the team in product knowledge, sales techniques, client service, and company policies and procedures.
  • Identify talent for internal development and share proposals with the Retail Manager or Director to establish appropriate development plans.
  • Develop team members through coaching and follow-up on individual action plans.
  • Attract and recruit talent through networking and scouting.
  • Ensure strong cooperation between front and back of house for efficient operations.
  • Lead by example to ensure the team handles products with the utmost care and respect in every ceremony and procedure.
  • Ensure displays attract clients and maximise sales in line with company guidelines; seek Visual Merchandising and Merchandising support based on store needs.
  • Ensure effective and efficient care of company assets.
  • Enforce company procedures for cash activities, inventory, logistics and head-office reporting.
  • Provide feedback and suggestions to the Visual Merchandising and Retail Merchandising departments as needed.
  • Work with Retail Head Office to organise local events and set challenging, realistic targets for each client.
  • Ensure excellent standards and service at store events.
  • Propose local event opportunities in partnership with local stakeholders and influencers.
