The Store Manager leads Prada’s Cortina store, accountable for overall performance, sales targets, client experience, team development and operational controls. The role also drives clienteling, omnichannel activity, merchandising and local events; compensation is €60,000–€70,000 gross annual salary.
Role & Responsibilities
- Own overall store performance as a business leader and brand ambassador, ensuring an exceptional client experience through a visible sales-floor presence and leadership of activities that achieve store targets.
- Drive and maximize sales performance; propose and develop business plans; and lead the team to exceed KPIs.
- Represent Prada in the local market, identify opportunities to increase footfall and attract new clients, and build client loyalty to the brand.
- Ensure a consistently appropriate approach and level of service for clients on the sales floor.
- Develop omnichannel business through the team.
- Meet the store operating budget and control expenses.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships and a client-centric mindset, delivering excellent satisfaction and the highest level of service.
- Implement clienteling initiatives and events with other company functions to secure loyalty and increase client spend; foster a strong private-appointment culture.
- Manage and coach the team, support succession planning and internal growth, and promote entrepreneurial spirit, effective communication, efficient organization and professional development.
- Keep the team informed and prepared on Prada Group information, product knowledge, the local market, competitors, policies and procedures.
- Attract and recruit strong talent through networking and scouting.
- Develop sales strategy with Retail Merchandising, Visual Merchandising and Retail Operations; ensure displays attract clients and maximize sales in line with company guidelines.
- Participate in buying sessions when requested and provide product feedback based on store needs.
- Ensure cooperation between front and back of house.
- Enforce company procedures for cash activity, inventory, logistics and head-office reporting.
- Work with the Retail Events Office to organize local events, set a challenging and realistic target per client, and propose local event opportunities with stakeholders and influencers.
