Stockroom Assistant at Prada in Hong Kong. Manage inventory, merchandise preparation, and warehouse operations for a luxury fashion retailer.
Role & Responsibilities
- Ensure the security and proper storage of products and valuable materials in the warehouse environment
- Verify product condition and integrity upon receipt and throughout handling
- Enter incoming goods into the IT system and maintain accurate inventory records
- Organize and lay out products in the warehouse according to established protocols and criteria
- Prepare merchandise for the sales floor, including application of anti-theft tags and price labels
- Position and merchandise products on the retail sales floor to optimize presentation
- Maintain consistent order and cleanliness throughout the warehouse and storage areas
- Prepare goods designated for repair and register repair items in the IT system
- Dispatch merchandise to clients, factories, other stores, and warehouses with proper documentation
- Retrieve and prepare goods for transfer to other store locations using IT system downloads
- Process and prepare merchandise returns according to company procedures
- Handle all goods with careful attention throughout the entire handling and logistics process
- Order and manage packaging materials in alignment with store operational requirements
Qualifications
- Proven experience in warehouse or stockroom operations, preferably in a retail or luxury environment
- Proficiency with inventory management systems and IT platforms
- Physical capability to lift, carry, and move merchandise regularly
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to product quality standards
- Ability to follow established procedures and maintain organizational systems
- Reliable and punctual work ethic
Skills
Experience
Prior experience in warehouse, stockroom, or retail inventory management is preferred, particularly within luxury or fashion retail sectors.
Education
Secondary education or equivalent; additional certification in warehouse management or logistics is advantageous.
