Prada Stock Manager role in Guadalajara, Mexico, overseeing stock operations, inventory control, team supervision and store support.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage stock KPIs and stockroom organization, ensuring compliance with corporate guidelines and procedures; maintain accurate inventory levels while minimizing stock losses.
- Coordinate stock team activities and distribute tasks and responsibilities evenly; provide the team with the information and tools required for their work.
- Manage new-joiner induction through coaching, training and feedback; conduct performance assessment interviews in consultation with the General Manager or Store Director.
- Train, coach and supervise staff, escalating performance issues to Store Management.
- Secure stockroom facilities and assigned keys; protect alarm-code confidentiality and ensure the stockroom is attended at all times.
- Monitor stock staff attendance and dependability, and ensure staff arrive on time and clock in appropriately.
- Maintain a safe and clean working environment, uphold company policies, procedures and regulations, and maintain Prada standards for the organization and cleanliness of the receiving and office areas.
- Execute stock-related directions from corporate partners.
- Ensure merchandise is uploaded and downloaded accurately and on time, and that all incoming and outgoing transfers are entered into SAP when processed.
- Investigate and correct receiving errors or inconsistencies; separate goods by classification and maintain back stock accordingly.
- Prepare products for the sales floor, including applying anti-theft tags and pricing; organize warehouse products according to established criteria.
- Oversee regular cycle counts to ensure accurate on-hand inventories and oversee the repair process.
- Ensure goods are dispatched correctly to clients, the warehouse and other stores; support distribution through all ecommerce platforms and ensure goods are properly handled throughout the process.
- Manage and order packaging and office supplies, and manage and protect store visual props.
- Prepare thoroughly in the months leading up to inventory; work with the corporate office team, including Store Operations Area Manager and Loss Prevention, to prepare and lead the full inventory process.
- Coordinate inventory schedules, reconcile results and submit them to the corporate office.
- Liaise with local Store Operations and Loss Prevention to track developments in stock losses.
- Oversee and schedule weekly cycle counts, compile monthly results and send them to Corporate.
- Ensure Incident Reports (IRs) are completed and communicated to Store Management.
- Liaise with the Technical/Facilities Department, communicate issues and requests such as painters, electricians and fixtures from Italy, and monitor and follow up on requests.
- Monitor and report daily store maintenance issues.
- Coordinate with the corporate office to ensure new hires receive uniforms and new-season uniforms arrive on time and are allocated according to guidelines; monitor the return of uniforms by departing employees and ensure end-of-season destruction of old uniforms.
- Contribute to team efforts and support store performance in achieving sales targets and budget.
