Role & Responsibilities
- Oversee all stockroom and inventory operations for the boutique, ensuring merchandise is accurately received, processed and stored.
- Plan and execute regular stocktakes and cycle counts; reconcile discrepancies and maintain real‑time inventory accuracy.
- Coordinate replenishment between stockroom and sales floor to optimise availability and presentation of key product categories.
- Manage receiving processes: inspect deliveries for quality, verify quantities against documentation, and process returns or corrections.
- Implement loss‑prevention controls and secure handling procedures for high‑value items.
- Prepare inventory reports and KPIs for store leadership; identify trends and recommend corrective actions.
- Lead and coach back‑of‑house personnel, assigning daily tasks and maintaining staff rotas and training records.
- Collaborate closely with store management, visual merchandising and regional supply chain teams to support launches and promotions.
Qualifications
- Proven retail inventory or stockroom experience in a luxury or premium fashion environment.
- Demonstrated ability to lead a small team and manage back‑of‑house operations.
- Strong numerical aptitude and meticulous attention to detail.
- Clear organisational skills with the ability to prioritise in a fast‑paced boutique setting.
- Familiarity with retail inventory processes, stocktaking methodology and loss‑prevention practices.

Experience
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on experience in inventory management or stock control within luxury or premium retail; prior exposure to boutique operations and high‑value merchandise preferred.
Education
Secondary education (high school diploma) required; vocational training in retail, logistics or a related field preferred.
