Prada Stock Assistant position in Osaka, Japan—manage inventory, e-commerce fulfillment, and warehouse operations in luxury retail.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and store merchandise according to company standards, preparing items for sales floor and designated areas with precision and timeliness
  • Process shop-to-shop transfers and returns following established company procedures and timelines
  • Manage e-commerce order fulfillment (Prada.com and external platforms) while maintaining required service levels
  • Handle defective goods, unsaleable items, repairs, and special inventory classifications with appropriate documentation and tracking
  • Manage packaging materials, stationery, display materials, staff uniforms, and gift-related inventory across physical and system records
  • Pack and protect merchandise for in-store use, internal transfers, and e-commerce shipment according to brand guidelines
  • Report and document security incidents, theft, and inventory discrepancies according to company protocols
  • Investigate system inventory variances and assist in root-cause analysis
  • Execute accurate documentation and system entry for all incoming and outgoing merchandise
  • Participate in physical inventory counts and cycle counts on established schedules
  • Support warehouse-related sales operations and collaborate with visual merchandising teams as needed
  • Maintain warehouse safety, cleanliness, and optimal space utilization in coordination with store and stock management
  • Update and organize archives monthly
  • Coordinate with external suppliers and service providers
  • Ensure strict adherence to KPIs, guidelines, and procedures from store management and headquarters

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent or higher
  • Genuine passion for fashion and Prada brand affinity
  • Practical proficiency with basic PC applications (Microsoft Word, Excel), including fundamental arithmetic operations and filtering functions; VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables preferred
  • Physical capability and comfort with manual handling and movement
  • Prior experience in backyard operations, inventory management, or sales support within luxury fashion or premium brands
  • Strong organizational skills with meticulous attention to procedural detail
  • Accuracy-focused mindset with a supportive team orientation
  • Analytical problem-solving abilities and logical reasoning skills preferred
  • Comfort working with English-language systems and processes
