PRADA in Milan is hiring a Stock Assistant to manage inventory, stockroom operations and replenishment for a luxury boutique.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect and process incoming shipments; verify quantities and quality against delivery documentation.
  • Organize and maintain the stockroom to Prada standards, ensuring accessibility, cleanliness and correct product rotation.
  • Perform regular stock counts, reconcile variances and support cycle-count and full-inventory processes.
  • Prepare and stage merchandise for the sales floor, executing timely replenishment and transfers.
  • Process returns, price changes, defects and inter-store transfers according to corporate procedures.
  • Support visual merchandising team with on-floor installations and stock staging as required.
  • Operate handheld RF scanners and store systems to update inventory records and report discrepancies.
  • Adhere to loss-prevention procedures and assist in audits and investigations when necessary.

Qualifications

  • Demonstrable attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Physical ability to handle repetitive lifting, carrying and prolonged standing.
  • Numeracy and basic data-entry accuracy for stock reconciliation.
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work within a team in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Discretion and respect for the brand and client privacy.
  • Flexible availability, including weekends and peak retail periods.
  • Prior experience in a high-standard retail or warehouse setting preferred.

Experience

Secondary education certificate or equivalent; vocational training in logistics, warehousing or retail operations is desirable but not required.
