Role & Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect and process inbound deliveries, verifying quantities and documentation against purchase orders.
- Organise and maintain the stockroom to luxury housekeeping standards; ensure merchandise is stored according to fragility and security requirements.
- Perform regular cycle counts, inventory reconciliations and discrepancy reporting to support accurate stock records.
- Replenish sales floor stock promptly and maintain presentation standards in coordination with visual merchandising and sales staff.
- Prepare and execute inter-store transfers, returns and shipments in accordance with company procedures and transport requirements.
- Implement loss-prevention measures, secure high-value items and report incidents following established protocols.
- Operate stock-management systems and update inventory records; assist with ad-hoc stock audits and seasonal stocktakes.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail stockroom, warehouse or logistics role; experience in luxury retail strongly preferred.
- Demonstrable attention to detail and a methodical approach to inventory control.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks and sustained standing; familiarity with safe lifting practices.
- Basic numeracy and record-keeping skills; able to follow documented procedures and standards.
- Right to work in Italy.
