Senior Project Manager, Windows and Displays at Prada Group in New York. Manage retail activations across North America.
Role & Responsibilities
- Manage the rollout of window displays, pop-ups, and brand activations across the United States and Canada, ensuring consistency and adherence to Prada Group brand standards
- Plan, organize, and execute window, pop-up, and specialty display programs and installations, utilizing robust project management methodologies
- Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement proactive solutions to maintain schedule and budget compliance
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Operations, Visual Merchandising, Retail, and Logistics to define scope, objectives, and deliverables
- Analyze bid packages, assess vendor performance, and evaluate project outcomes using business analytical skills
- Develop and manage project budgets in collaboration with Finance; identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements
- Leverage technical expertise in CAD software and technical drawings to oversee production and installation of windows, displays, and pop-ups
- Translate creative concepts from HQ Design teams into technical specifications, ensuring adherence to company standards and guidelines
- Act as liaison between departments, facilitating cross-functional meetings and providing regular project status updates
- Lead by example, inspiring and motivating cross-functional teams and external vendors to deliver high-quality work
- Participate in post-project reviews and lessons learned sessions to identify improvement opportunities and implement corrective actions
Qualifications
- 7+ years of vendor management experience in visual experience and/or store planning within the retail industry
- Proven project management experience, preferably in retail or visual merchandising
- Proficiency with CAD, SketchUp, or equivalent design software
- Ability to read and interpret architectural and technical shop drawings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Self-motivated and proactive with the ability to work independently and drive results in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to travel as needed for project installations
- Ability to work flexible schedules, including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays as business requirements dictate

7+ years of vendor management experience in visual experience and store planning in the retail industry, with proven expertise in project management, preferably in retail or visual merchandising environments.
