Role & Responsibilities
- Lead end‑to‑end delivery of capital projects across facilities and security — including store openings, refurbishments, system upgrades and security installations — from feasibility through handover.
- Define project scope, programme and budget; own schedule, quality assurance, risk register and commissioning activities to meet brand standards and operational readiness.
- Manage consultants, contractors, specialist vendors and security integrators; run procurement, tendering and contract administration with robust commercial control.
- Ensure compliance with local building regulations, fire safety, accessibility requirements and corporate security protocols; obtain permits and approvals from authorities.
- Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (retail operations, real‑estate, visual merchandising, IT, asset management) to minimise operational disruption and align project outcomes with commercial objectives.
- Implement site governance, HSE controls and quality inspections; drive snagging, defects remediation and final acceptance processes.
- Produce regular executive reporting (cost-to-complete, schedule status, risk mitigation) and present project updates to senior leadership.
- Champion sustainability, lifecycle cost optimisation and continuous improvement across design and construction practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management or related discipline.
- Project management certification preferred (PMP, Prince2, RICS or equivalent); LEED/BREEAM accreditation a plus.
- Proven experience delivering complex fit‑outs or refurbishment programmes in retail, luxury or hospitality environments.
- Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable contract negotiation and budget control experience.
- Ability to lead multicultural project teams and manage external consultants and contractors to high standards of craftsmanship and discretion.

Experience
Typically 8–12 years of progressive project management experience with at least 5 years leading medium‑to‑large scale fit‑outs, refurbishments or construction programmes; demonstrable experience in luxury retail or hospitality projects is highly desirable.
Education
Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related technical discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
