Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end delivery of capital projects across facilities and security — including store openings, refurbishments, system upgrades and security installations — from feasibility through handover.
  • Define project scope, programme and budget; own schedule, quality assurance, risk register and commissioning activities to meet brand standards and operational readiness.
  • Manage consultants, contractors, specialist vendors and security integrators; run procurement, tendering and contract administration with robust commercial control.
  • Ensure compliance with local building regulations, fire safety, accessibility requirements and corporate security protocols; obtain permits and approvals from authorities.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional stakeholders (retail operations, real‑estate, visual merchandising, IT, asset management) to minimise operational disruption and align project outcomes with commercial objectives.
  • Implement site governance, HSE controls and quality inspections; drive snagging, defects remediation and final acceptance processes.
  • Produce regular executive reporting (cost-to-complete, schedule status, risk mitigation) and present project updates to senior leadership.
  • Champion sustainability, lifecycle cost optimisation and continuous improvement across design and construction practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, architecture, construction management or related discipline.
  • Project management certification preferred (PMP, Prince2, RICS or equivalent); LEED/BREEAM accreditation a plus.
  • Proven experience delivering complex fit‑outs or refurbishment programmes in retail, luxury or hospitality environments.
  • Strong commercial acumen with demonstrable contract negotiation and budget control experience.
  • Ability to lead multicultural project teams and manage external consultants and contractors to high standards of craftsmanship and discretion.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, architecture, construction management or a related technical discipline; advanced degree or professional certifications preferred.
