Prada is hiring an In-Store Training Manager for its Bond Street boutique in London to lead retail learning and development for boutique teams.
Role & Responsibilities
- Design, implement and maintain boutique-specific training programmes covering product knowledge, sales technique, clienteling, visual standards and service protocols for the Bond Street flagship.
- Deliver classroom and in-store training sessions, workshops and one-to-one coaching; adapt content for adult learners and boutique schedules.
- Conduct training needs analysis and partner with regional L&D, HR and retail operations to prioritise initiatives that drive conversion, average transaction value and client retention.
- Develop and maintain training materials, manuals, e-learning modules and assessment tools; oversee LMS content and training records for the store.
- Coach store leadership and sales teams on performance improvement, conduct regular evaluations, and provide actionable feedback tied to KPIs.
- Coordinate onboarding for new hires and seasonal staff, ensuring rapid integration into Prada’s service standards and commercial objectives.
- Monitor training effectiveness via sales metrics, mystery shopping, competitor benchmarking and employee feedback; iterate programmes to deliver measurable results.
Qualifications
- Proven capability to design and deliver retail training programmes for boutique teams, with measurable impact on sales and service metrics.
- Excellent presentation, facilitation and interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and influence at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong stakeholder management — experience collaborating with HR, regional operations and store management to implement cross-functional initiatives.
- Flexible availability to work retail hours including evenings and weekends as required by boutique operations.
- Professional demeanour aligned with luxury-brand standards and discretion in client-facing environments.
Skills
Experience
Typically requires 3–5 years of hands-on experience in retail training or learning & development, preferably within luxury fashion or premium retail, including demonstrable success in boutique environments and improving sales performance through training.
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Business, Human Resources, Hospitality, Fashion Management or a related discipline; formal training certifications (e.g., Train-the-Trainer, L&D qualifications) are advantageous.
