Prada Retail Trainer role in London. Design and deliver multi-format training programmes to support store teams across North Europe, driving customer experience and business performance.
Role & Responsibilities
- Collaborate with local retail, HR, and marketing departments and headquarters training leadership to identify and assess training needs for store personnel, designing effective and efficient programmes to address capability gaps
- Create and implement training programmes leveraging multiple delivery modes including classroom sessions, digital platforms, gamification applications, one-to-one coaching, virtual training, role-play exercises, and hands-on practice
- Deliver product and brand training to store staff, ensuring consistent alignment with corporate and brand standards, client journey principles, brand DNA, and luxury clienteling methodologies
- Partner with retail merchandisers to support product training delivery and ensure comprehensive understanding of assortment across sales teams
- Maintain active sales floor presence, observing customer interactions, providing targeted feedback, and coaching staff on luxury service delivery and customer experience excellence
- Support the onboarding process for new store joiners in collaboration with HR, providing comprehensive orientation training across all relevant content areas
- Monitor and measure training effectiveness through both quantitative KPI analysis (e.g. Net Promoter Score, sales uplift, conversion metrics) and qualitative feedback from retail management and direct floor observations
- Provide regular progress updates to headquarters line managers, HR leadership, and store management regarding team and individual development outcomes
- Manage training-related budgets and operational costs, ensuring efficient resource allocation
- Operate digital learning tools and learning management systems (LMS) platforms to deliver and track training activities
Qualifications
- Proven track record in retail training, learning and development, or related role within luxury retail or comparable customer-facing environment
- Demonstrated expertise in training facilitation, adult learning principles, and coaching methodologies
- Strong understanding of luxury retail customer experience, clienteling techniques, and brand storytelling
- Experience designing and implementing training programmes across multiple formats and delivery channels
- Familiarity with learning management systems and digital training platforms
- Excellent communication and presentation skills with ability to influence audiences at all organizational levels

Experience
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in retail training, learning and development, or equivalent customer-facing training role, preferably within luxury retail or premium brands. Demonstrated success in designing and delivering multi-format training programmes, conducting on-floor coaching, and driving measurable improvements in team performance and customer experience metrics.
Education
Secondary education required; further qualification in training, learning and development, business management, or related discipline preferred (e.g. CIPD, relevant certification in instructional design or adult learning).
