Prada is seeking a Retail Merchandising Intern for its Milan head office to support the men’s shoes category across Southern Europe. The intern will contribute to assortment management, market analysis, buying preparation, store communications, visual merchandising coordination and product training.
Role & Responsibilities
- Support the Retail Merchandising Team in managing the men’s shoes category for Southern Europe.
- Assist in preparing reports, statistics, and analyses of market trends and competitors.
- Contribute to developing sales and purchasing strategies.
- Support store inquiries and maintain regular communication with store staff.
- Collaborate with Visual Merchandising to align in-store displays with merchandising strategies.
- Help create presentations and evaluations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Participate in preparations for buying new collections.
- Assist with organizing and conducting product training sessions.
Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Business Administration, Fashion Management, or a related field.
- Strong interest in luxury fashion and understanding of industry trends.
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint; SAP knowledge is a plus.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Proactive, detail-oriented mindset and ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Effective communication skills and collaborative team spirit.
- Fluent spoken English.
