Prada Quality Control Supervisor in Montevarchi: oversee luxury apparel production in Romania with quality and compliance expertise.
Role & Responsibilities
- Supervise prototype realization at manufacturing facilities and oversee final approval, proposing optimization and industrialization solutions as needed
- Monitor the advancement of garment assembly phases at assigned laboratories through final product delivery to the Italian CQ logistics center
- Conduct AQL quality inspections at manufacturing sites to ensure compliance with defined quality standards for each garment
- Verify alignment between the external laboratory's technical-production capabilities and the assigned production characteristics
- Confirm product adherence to technical specifications and promptly inform relevant departments of material-related issues and delivery plan deviations
- Support prototype and sample defect correction, proposing improvements in costs, production timelines, and quality standards
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience in luxury apparel sector in roles such as tailor, prototype technician, production technician, or quality control specialist, with focus on outerwear (jackets, blousons, down jackets, coats, technical fabrics)
- Diploma in clothing pattern-making or related field
- Demonstrated ability to assist manufacturing facilities on garment construction and cutting and sewing phases of production garments
- Direct hands-on experience in one or more garment assembly phases such as cutting or tailoring
Skills
Experience
10 years in luxury apparel production, including roles as tailor, prototype technician, production technician, or quality control specialist, with specialized experience in outerwear categories such as jackets, blousons, down jackets, coats, and technical textiles.
Education
Diploma in clothing pattern-making or related discipline
