Prada seeks a Process Engineer for its Figline Valdarno leather goods facility. Lead Lean Manufacturing and process optimization initiatives.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and revision of work procedures for assigned production areas
- Conduct time-motion studies and evaluate work methodologies
- Analyze and balance departmental workload distribution
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives through application of Lean Production methodologies
- Deploy and monitor 5S principles across designated production perimeters
- Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of departmental KPIs
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within Manufacturing Industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Comprehensive knowledge of Lean Production methodologies
- Strong English language proficiency
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Skills
Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in process engineering within the Manufacturing Industry, with prior exposure to the Fashion and Luxury sector considered advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
