Prada seeks a Process Engineer with expertise in process engineering and Lean Manufacturing to join its leather goods manufacturing facility in Figline Valdarno, Italy. Reporting to the Plant Manager and functionally to the Industrial Quality Direction, the selected candidate will play a pivotal role in enhancing production workflows, optimizing operational efficiency, and driving quality performance improvements across the facility.
Role & Responsibilities
- Participate in the design and revision of work procedures for assigned production areas
- Conduct time-motion studies and evaluate work methodologies
- Analyze and balance departmental workload distribution
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives through application of Lean Production methodologies
- Deploy and monitor 5S principles across designated production perimeters
- Conduct daily monitoring and analysis of departmental KPIs
Qualifications
- Degree in Industrial Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of experience in process engineering within Manufacturing Industry
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access
- Comprehensive knowledge of Lean Production methodologies
- Strong English language proficiency
- Excellent organizational and planning capabilities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Experience
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in process engineering within the Manufacturing Industry, with prior exposure to the Fashion and Luxury sector considered advantageous.
Education
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Management Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related discipline.
