Marchesi 1824 Milano seeks experienced Maître to lead dining service, manage team, and deliver luxury guest experiences—€35K–€40K annually.
Role & Responsibilities
- Coordinate daily dining room operations, ensuring impeccable service delivery and meticulous attention to each guest's experience
- Collaborate closely with the Director and Deputy Director to guarantee memorable client interactions and seamless service execution
- Manage opening and closing procedures with strict adherence to operational protocols and HACCP standards
- Supervise service flow, coordinate kitchen-to-floor communication, and lead the team by example through all operational phases
- Guide guests through their entire restaurant journey, ensuring consistent brand experience aligned with Marchesi 1824 and Prada Group standards
- Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the brand's history, values, and DNA, communicating these authentically to guests through compelling storytelling
- Master the menu in detail, offering expert product recommendations and proactive guest guidance on the gastronomic offering
- Stay current on product innovations, sales performance, and developments in luxury hospitality and fine dining
- Maintain rigorous service quality standards across all touchpoints, addressing deviations promptly and decisively
- Recruit, coordinate, motivate, and mentor the front-of-house team, ensuring consistent quality service delivery
- Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for service staff, focusing on service procedures, F&B knowledge, and operational standards
- Address guest concerns and complaints with tact, efficiency, and grace, protecting both guest experience and restaurant reputation
- Analyze daily sales metrics (revenue, average check, product mix, upselling rate) to identify performance opportunities
- Drive strategic upselling of high-margin dishes and beverages to maximize revenue and profitability
- Monitor daily performance against budget and forecast targets, implementing corrective actions to optimize results
Qualifications

- Demonstrated experience in upscale restaurant or hospitality management
Skills
Experience
Extensive experience in fine dining or luxury hospitality venues, with demonstrated success leading front-of-house teams and managing complex guest interactions in high-end settings. Prior experience in similar leadership roles within Michelin-starred restaurants, luxury hotels, or iconic dining establishments is preferred.
Education
Formal training in hospitality management, hotel management, or equivalent professional qualification in food service operations is preferred. Completion of advanced sommelier or wine certification programs is a plus.

The successful candidate will be located in Milan, Lombardy, Italy.
Compensation
The base compensation for this position ranges from EUR 35,000 to EUR 40,000 per annum.
