Role & Responsibilities
- Execute production tasks on leather goods lines following technical packets, work orders and quality standards.
- Cut and prepare leather components using hand tools, cutting dies and mechanical cutters with precision and consistency.
- Operate and maintain industrial sewing machines and hand‑stitching stations to assemble panels, linings and trims.
- Perform skiving, edge finishing, burnishing and assembly operations to achieve required aesthetic and functional tolerances.
- Carry out in‑process and final quality inspections; identify defects and apply corrective actions or escalate to supervisors.
- Maintain production documentation (piece counts, time sheets, non‑conformance reports) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with workplace health & safety procedures and proper care of equipment and consumables.
- Collaborate with pattern makers, prototyping teams and line supervisors to support small runs and sample production when required.
Qualifications
