Role & Responsibilities

  • Lead and deploy Lean manufacturing initiatives (Kaizen, 5S, SMED, VSM) across one or more production lines to reduce waste and improve throughput.
  • Plan, manage and execute continuous‑improvement projects using Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies to address quality, cost and delivery issues.
  • Conduct Gemba walks, time studies and process mapping to identify bottlenecks and define standardized work and SOPs.
  • Develop and monitor process KPIs; apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) to sustain improvements and escalate deviations.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, engineering and supply‑chain teams to ensure robust change implementation and handover.
  • Design and deliver operator training and coaching to embed new methods and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Use data analysis and problem‑solving tools (root cause analysis, 5 Whys, fishbone diagrams) to drive corrective actions.
  • Support layout optimization, flow improvements and introduction of error‑proofing (Poka‑Yoke) solutions.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent technical discipline.
  • Certification in Lean / Six Sigma (Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred).
  • Proven experience in manufacturing continuous‑improvement projects with measurable results.
  • Strong analytical capability with experience in SPC and data‑driven problem solving.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and training capabilities; able to lead cross‑functional teams.
